Que Buena Taqueria
Welcome to Que Buena Taqueria, a hidden gem located in Whittier, California. Nestled at 10530 Whittier Blvd #105, this cozy Mexican restaurant invites diners to savor authentic and vibrant flavors in a casual setting. It may be small, but what it lacks in size, it makes up for in personality and, most importantly, in taste.
Que Buena Taqueria specializes in a delightful array of Mexican cuisine, but their tacos truly steal the show. Whether you're craving the Taco Regular for just $3.79 with your choice of asada, al pastor, or pollo, or the delectable Azteca Taco loaded with meat, beans, nopales, and crispy cheese at $4.99, there’s something here for every taco lover. A must-try is the fish taco, expertly crafted with fresh ingredients like cabbage, tomatoes, and cilantro, available for a tantalizing price of $3.99. For Tuesday bargain hunters, their Fish Taco Tuesday deals at just $0.99 per taco are simply unbeatable!
- Home-Made Tortillas: Many customers rave about the hand-made tortillas, which provide a fresh and authentic experience.
- Exceptional Customer Service: The staff is known for their friendliness and efficiency, ensuring you feel valued during your visit.
- Fresh Ingredients: Each dish boasts freshness, with dishes like the Shrimp Marinara Penne and Green Chile Shrimp Pasta coming highly recommended.
Don’t just take my word for it—customer reviews paint a picture of satisfaction. Sam L. enthusiastically shared about the “bomb” fish tacos after taking advantage of the Tuesday special, while Ivan Mendoza, J.D. highlighted the authentic flavors and freshness of their traditional dishes. Laura Valdez, impressed by the chicharron plate, described herself as a tough critic, but found her meal fantastic. It’s clear that Que Buena Taqueria has earned its reputation as a must-try dining destination.
As I explored the menu, I felt a genuine connection to the culinary heritage represented in each dish. The enthusiasm of Chef Ladis is evident in every plate served, making each meal not just food but a celebration of Mexican culture. Despite the cozy atmosphere, which some patrons mentioned could be a bit tight, the sense of community and shared love for food here is palpable.
One additional note: make sure to bring cash with you since they do not accept debit or credit cards—a small trade-off for an outstanding meal in a place that feels like home. In conclusion, Que Buena Taqueria merges affordability with authenticity—making it a must-visit spot for anyone in the Whittier area craving delicious Mexican fare.

Bought 12 fish tacos for their Fish Taco Tuesday deal and they were bomb! Hand made tortillas tasted fresh and you can tell they appreciate their customers. The cashier was clearly busy but right away helped me out with my pickup order. Will definitely be back.
